In September 2019, the Northern Colorado Drug Job Force (NCDTF) apprehended 10 individuals, who deal with more than 120 felony accusations, consisting of COCCA charges.

It was all part of Operation Malverde, an eight-month-long examination by the NCDTF that by all accounts was exceptionally effective. Beyond the arrests, the Berthoud Weekly Property surveyor reported that the NCDTF took weapons, controlled substances, and money. Many suspects are still at big.
